Cury Design Studio Ocean City represents the next chapter of a trusted design legacy nearly five decades in the making.
Originally founded in 1976 by Joann Thompson, the studio began as Interiors by Joann and grew from a small design practice into a beloved local destination for interiors, furnishings, and homes designed for the way families truly live.
Today, under the leadership of Samantha Cury, that legacy continues with a fresh name, expanded vision, and the same heart that has always defined the studio. Cury Design Studio Ocean City honors where we began while creating space for what comes next.
From coastal homes and vacation retreats to primary residences, hospitality environments, and commercial spaces, our work is rooted in one simple belief: beautifully designed spaces make life more meaningful.

After decades as Interiors by Joann, our evolution into Cury Design Studio is more than a name change. It is a reflection of the team, energy, and vision carrying the studio forward.
The official rebrand marked a meaningful moment for our clients, partners, team, and community. It gave us the chance to celebrate the people who helped build this story and the next chapter we are creating together.
